Qanairy Wins Best In Transfer Learning Technology

We’re excited to announce that Qanairy has won a 2019 AI TechAward in the category: Best in Transfer Learning Technology. The 2019 AI TechAwards celebrate technical innovation, adoption, and reception in the AI, Machine Learning & Data Science industry. The award will be presented at the 2019 AI TechAwards Ceremony during AI DevWorld, the largest national Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, & Data Science conference.

How does Qanairy use Transfer Learning?

Here at Qanairy we are constantly trying to make use of the latest advancements in machine learning technology and we understand its importance in our industry. Qanairy itself is a self-supervised reinforcement learning system that relies on transfer learning to test apps and websites. We use transfer learning to take a model trained for one task and reuse it as the starting point for a model on a second task; all in real-time. This means that Qanairy is easily able to adapt to new information as it experiences it without any delay. This becomes extremely helpful when processing multiple test paths at a time.

Transfer learning will continue to play a key role at Qanairy, and will eventually power a majority of the decision making done by the system. Currently, Qanairy uses transfer learning to predict form classification. It also plays a role in test path prioritization, identifying paths that are most likely to produce a test.

The future holds an almost unlimited possibility for what Qanairy is capable of. From preemptively predicting failing tests during Discovery, to generating natural inputs for forms to better simulate a user. We are excited to learn where the limitations are for our transfer learning system.
